[ Job Purpose ]
This position is a key role and highly visible role in Samsung TV/AV business. Responsible for S&OP (Sales & Operation Planning) process & IBP (Integrated Business Planning) process of Samsung TV/AV, s/he will support the business to maximize the sales and profit by finding the best balance of inventory trade-off between overstock and understock thru the world best class planning process. Being the bridge between planning and execution, between sales and operation and between local and the HQ/factory, s/he will navigate the Samsung Italy’s TV/AV SCM team and the Business toward right direction.
Key Responsibilities:
[S&OP Process Owner]
• Own the weekly S&OP (Sales & Operation Planning) process of Samsung TV/AV product category, ranging from demand planning, supply planning, order planning and Sales operation.
• Actively promote and sustain the SCM approach within Team and across functions, ensuring the respect of Corporate guidelines and the timely elaboration of the required information.
• Manage the weekly S&OP meeting in efficient way, preparing materials, focusing & driving attention on key topics to discuss during meeting.
• Match the actual situation with the sales forecasts and highlight the major discrepancies, so that the relevant team/decision makers can act in timely manner.
• Monitor the key performance index, and find the root causes of lower performance and take improvement actions.
• Manage monthly/weekly sales operation issues with relevant teams.
• Support Sales and Marketing, Decision-makers with data analyses on sales & business performance.
[Demand Planning Management]
• Implement analysis on factors influencing the demand, based on which, elaborate and update – on a weekly basis – the Demand Forecasting situation to be forwarded to the manufacturing sites to align the production phase to the local needs, as part of global S&OP process
• Review a detailed channel PSI (Purchasing, Sales, Inventory) analysis / POS analysis and forecast sell-out trend, collecting marketing, sales order & product availability information. Find implications from the analysis for a possible issues or opportunities

[Supply Planning Management]
• Ensure the demand to be fulfilled in time, by coordinating with factories, 3PL, and HQ, and by analysing supply shortage and finding solutions
• Be the bridge between the factory / HQ and the local Sales / Marketing team on the supply and demand issue.
• Daily communication with factories for supply planning & issue management.
• Prevent and detect the future issue on inventory (excessive, aging, obsolence) with PSI (purchase, sales, inventory) simulation review and market sensing.
[Team Management]
• Lead the SCM team of Samsung TV/AV product category, and make the best performance with them, by developing and motivating the team.
• Be the role model for the team and inspire them to go beyond their limit.
• Guide teams on new process and policy on Supply Chain topics into an actionable manner
Qualifications/Requirements:
[Education]
• Master / Bachelor in Supply Chain, Management, Industrial Engineering (management engineering)
[Experience]
• 6~8 years of experience in S&OP, Demand Planning / Supply Planning, and Sales Operation.
• Work experience in multi-cultural team
[Skills]
• Profound analytical skills and ability to work with details; High Microsoft Excel is essential
• Strong eye for detail and experience with databases and reporting
• Problem solving skills
• Strong communication & Stakeholder management skills (Regular report to top management)
• Team management skill
• Flexible and Adaptable. Able to work in a complex environment and to work under pressure
• Ability to effectively prioritize various tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Language : English & Korean. Fluent Korean language is MUST for this position.
